Gozlan Psychology is dedicated to the highest ethical standards and approaches each and every client with compassion and respect. We offer long and short term therapy to individuals, couples and families. In addition, we provide evidence-based assessments for a range of purposes (Psycho-vocational, Independent Evaluations, MVA, Medical-Legal, psycho-educational).
As a clinical team, we offer a full range of psychological assessments and therapy. We work in partnership and routinely consult on assessment and therapy cases, often on a daily basis. Because we have several professionals working at the practice, clients not have to wait long for therapy or assessment appointments. We work not as detached experts but as involved participants in helping individuals live fuller lives.
Dr. Gozlan, PsyD, ABPP, RRP is the Clinical Director of Gozlan Psychology Professional Corporation. He is a Clinical Psychologist and a Psychoanalyst, registered to practice Psychology in the Province of Ontario. He is also a Diplomate in Psychoanalysis with the American Board of Professional Psychology and chair of the committee on sexuality of the International Forum for Psychoanalytic Education. He is a Professor of Psychology and Psychoanalysis at the Adler Graduate Professional School in Toronto, where he also serves as Director of Clinical Training. Dr. Gozlan is a member of the Toronto Society for Contemporary Psychoanalysis as well as a guest member at the Toronto Institute of Psychoanalysis. He is a member of the American and the Canadian Psychological Associations and a Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) with the Canadian Association of Rehabilitation Professionals Inc.
Dr. Gozlan is particularly interested in the theories of Freud, Bion, Klein, Meltzer and Lacan. He has published articles in the Psychoanalytic Review, International Forum of Psychoanalysis, European Journal of psychoanalysis, and in Other Wise, the on-line journal of the International Forum of Psychoanalytic Education. He is currently working on a book on sexual difference and transsexuality.
His competencies are in the areas of Clinical and Counselling Psychology, with extensive experience in assessment, treatment and rehabilitation, focusing on personal injury, MVA and trauma evaluations. He has extensive experience carrying out Independent Examinations, Psycho-Vocational and Medical-Legal Assessments as well as experience acting as an 'expert witness' in court. He has conducted numerous workshops on malingering, assessment of trauma, work stress and 'return to work' plans; presented to various insurance companies and rehabilitation facilities. He has also presented at rehabilitation conferences such as Input Symposium and at APA and in international conferences such as Division 39 Annual Spring Meeting; the International Congress of Psychology and the International Forum of Psychoanalytic Education. His work history includes Director of Psychological Services at a trauma evaluation clinic, Head of Psychological Services at a disability management company and as Head of an EAP program.

We have four offices. Our main office is located at Spadina Avenue and Davenport Road; we also have offices in Scarborough, Mississauga and Hamilton. Additionally, we have staff that provides services out of existing referral locations across the GTA and Hamilton.
